of Colloidal Silica |
| Colloidal
silica is the watery dispersoid of silicon dioxide.
Its molecular formula can be write mSiO2·nH2O.
It can be used widely in industrial productions, such
as investment casting, vacuum-formed fibrous shapes,
refractory material, inorganic coatings, stool and mold
coatings, textile industry, making paper and film, hot-top
insulating board, catalyst binder and support, package
frictionizing, treatment of carbon products, and enhanced
foam rubber. It has been also used as water-purify agent,
clarification agent, polishes, reinforcing agent, molecular
sieves, and so on.
Yuda is the main manufacturer producing colloidal
silica in China mainland. Since the product is produced
from simple silicon, so it exhibits much excellent advantages
including low impurity, high diaphaneity, well-proportioned
granularity, and compact configuration, etc.
